Harbor Light Restoration

I am very proud to say that I had a rather large hand in helping to get area building trades unions to donate their time and their equipment to restoring New London’s historic Harbor Light. She is my rock, my constant, and the thing that gets me through my darkest days. So long as she stands, I know that no matter what Life is throwing me or how hard things are, it will end and the light will shine again. When her beauty faded and the call went out I couldn’t help but pitch the idea to my boss who at that time was the business agent for the now defunct Connecticut Carpenter’s Local 24. Thanks to tireless efforts of the Carpenters, the Painters, and Masons, she was lovingly restored to her former glory. I created a video at the time to commemorate and celebrate this massive coming together. You may view it here if you like.
