Before it was torn down I was lucky enough to gain entry and take a few pics with my Dad’s old Olympus OM-10 That means film to you younger folks. Black and white is my favorite medium to work in, I don’t find the black and white filter on my digital camera or my phone does images justice.
As to the old State Hospital itself, to this day, I am saddened that this place was torn down. I worry for the souls who are now lost and wandering the grounds without a home. I found it to be a truly moving and magickal place that gave me experiences I will never forget and that will bring me to the edge of tears for the rest of my days.
