Harvest Coomb or WTF?

They say that God works in Mysterious Ways.

I even wrote a book about it.

What I hadn’t done until less than a week ago was open the “Harvest Coomb” file in almost exactly 2 years.

Nope.

Trust me, no one was more shocked by this than I was especially in how it all came about. I WILL tell you that whole story in the very near future because I just can’t keep it to myself forever. When I tell you the story I will be choking down a hefty portion of roasted crow.

Anyway, I know it needs a little smoothing out. What I need to know is WHERE. What I’ve always needed to know was WHERE it slightly jumped the track. So I have sent this off to my three First Ladies and they are reading it and taking notes to help me along so I can polish it all up. This process won’t take very long.

Why?

When I walked away from it I knew it was almost done. I knew the Finish Line was in sight.

I had no idea how to get there.

So frustrating. It was like I could see the big white Finish Line Banner over the top of a heavy briar patch.

After the final copy of this file is uploaded and all nice-nice but before it’s release I imagine, you and I will sit down for a nice long chat. In the meantime, I am conducting a little experiment (as usual) with my lovely First Ladies. I need to see if they see it before I tell you about it. That’s fair. Right?

The real point right now is it’s fuckin’ done. I never thought I’d get here. Not only is it done….I’m way ahead of the game on getting the pre-orders out and ready, the info on my site, sending it to my mailing list now, and then later in the week I’ll do social media. I’m never this far ahead. I am always scrambling well after the release date.

This is kinda nice.

I haven’t solicited any reviews for it or reached out to anyone to help me market it. The fun part of those days seems to be over, I miss blog tours and those interviews and what-not. All of that is a whole other ballgame. I’m broke over here. Shot my load for marketing earlier because I was not expecting this. I was thinking about some sort of giveaway but Rafflecopter is gone and…well…I just don’t know. So I’m letting that part slide. For now.
